WHAT IS BIBLE CHALLENGE?

QUÉ ES EL DESAFÍO BÍBLICO?

Bible Challenge is a competition that tests youth on their knowledge of scripture. Quizzing will be based on knowledge of the content from a book in the Bible. The regional tournament will cover a selected amount of chapters. The teams that continue to compete at the championship tournament will be expected to know the book. Although players may study from any version of the Bible, the questions and memory verses will be based on the New International Version (NIV) and Nueva Version Internacional (NVI). Students are required to recite memory verses in the NIV or NVI versions only.

El Desafío Bíblico es una competencia que pone a prueba la juventud en su conocimiento de las Escrituras. El torneo se basa en el conocimiento del contenido de un libro de la Biblia. El torneo regional cubrirá una cantidad seleccionada de capítulos. Los equipos que continúan para competir en el campeonato tendrán que conocer el libro entero. Aunque los jugadores pueden estudiar cualquier versión de la Biblia, las preguntas y los versículos de memoria se basarán en la Nueva Versión Internacional (NVI). Los estudiantes tendrán que recitar los versículos de memoria en la Nueva Versión Internacional.

ATTENTION ALL YOUTH LEADERS & COACHES
Preparations for Bible Challenge 2019 are underway! The flyer below contains the dates and locations of each regional tournament plus other relevant information. Important things to note are:

Registration Dates: January 14th - February 11th. A $5 late fee (per person) will be charged after this period.
Cost: $15 per participant. Adult coach and assistant coach do not have to pay.
Liability & Medical Forms are due February 11th as well, sent electronically to juventud@nuestraalianza.org
The book of Romans will be the book for this year's Bible Challenge. The regional tournaments will cover chapters 1-10, while the championship will cover all chapters.
Memory Verses: There are 30 memory passages total. Seventeen passages need to be memorized for ALL REGIONAL TOURNAMENTS. Thirteen additional passages will be added for the regional tournament.
